As we’ve been praying over the winds, unexpected doors of favor have opened for us to walk into with ease. A couple of weeks ago, Imperial College London (a top 5 university in the UK) casually asked if I’d be interested in providing product advisory/coaching to the CEOs of 20 Saudi-based post-seed startups. I said, ‘Sure, why not?’ I figured even if it was a volunteer role, it’s Imperial—a good brand to build goodwill with. Next thing I knew, they offered to pay me in pounds. Sweet!
A UK-based Tech founder offered me a CEO role. I knew it wasn’t the right fit for me, so I referred someone else. See how doors are opening on their own? Still, he wants me on his board of advisors. That, I can do.
I was also offered an advisory board role for a pre-IPO startup. I’m still a bit dazed, actually.
Finally, a friend from my MBA reached out for advice on how to value her company for a sale. Since then, she’s started receiving offers and is ready to start her next venture. Me? A valuation advisor too?
I’m still like, ‘What is actually happening here?’ But the Holy Spirit is showing me that these are testimonies of how He has noised me abroad, and these are only samples of the rumblings to come. I’m sharing this as confirmation for someone. Anticipate the unexpected!
