After I shared the wind’s testimony for my husband, I had been asking Papa for my own. I said, “This year, I want to go to WEF in Davos.” He said, “OK.”
Then, my boss decided to take us to Zurich for a leadership retreat right after the WEF summit, which meant I could go a few days earlier and attend WEF. But as the proper Oliverana that I am, I said, “Papa, I don’t just want to go—I want to speak!” I had no idea how it was going to happen, but I trusted it to Papa.
Then, one of the events I registered for and was accepted to attend came back with this unexpected update. “Sorry, we overestimated our capacity and have to reduce the number of attendees. We are so sorry for this inconvenience and want to offer you a speaking slot at our other event.” I said, “Wow, Lord!” I was properly stoked, and just to show me how awesome He is, as I was still feeling my Papa, He added two more speaking slots! Now, I am afraid—what am I going to talk about? Lol!
For all the Oliveranas out there, please ask away! As Pastor Udy said, “He is more than able to meet our Oliver Twist requests!” Now, I am praying for utterance—that as I open my mouth, His words will flow out. In Jesus’ Name, Amen!
