Last night, PU asked us if we had any prayer requests. I raised my hand and asked God to send me two cash injections—one for my start-up and the other for an important sales transaction that He had spoken to me about since November last year.
This morning, a friend of mine who was on the call reached out to tell me that she had a dream about me. From the interpretation, it seemed that God had already answered both prayers. I was extremely thankful to God for the dream and casually discussed both projects with her.
Suddenly, my friend said she would give me the full amount for both projects. I was in shock! Just like that? Is this how God answers prayers, so suddenly? He brings you into someone’s dream, and that person then funds two projects? God is good. I am in awe of the way Abba answered and the speed at which he did.
The funny thing is that I had wanted to put my hand down before it got to my turn because, in my mind, I thought, I have already prayed, do I really need to ask for prayers again? I’m so thankful that I eventually spoke up.
Through all this, I had held on to two scriptures: Psalm 23:1 and Philippians 4:19. The Holy Spirit highlighted to me that a common word in both scriptures was “shall”! So, there was an assurance that God’s answer to me would not be a maybe or a might—it was always going to be a shall!
I thank God for being so loving and generous toward me. He is Jehovah Jireh, and I will always serve and abide in Him, in Jesus name, Amen.
