Finances

I got accepted into an MBA program at Boston College last year, so I was excited and doing all that I knew to do to go to school. God is kind. He provided me with a partial scholarship for the two years, covered my $2,500 enrollment fee, and provided documentation for my I-20. He also provided the visa fees, which I had to pay three times, along with the fees to pay the different agents who helped me secure visa appointment dates.
God made a way for me to travel to Abuja for my interview and provided funding for proof of funds. He granted me favor at the U.S. embassy when it was discovered that I had made an error in filling out my passport details, yet I was still allowed to proceed with the interview. He provided a place for me to stay ahead of time in Boston, funded my travel ticket in advance, and even supplied suitcases and warm clothes for my journey.
When classes started, even though I hadn’t arrived at school, he provided the funds to pay for school bills and materials and I joined the classes online. At every step of the journey, He filled my heart with encouragement. He comforted me through two visa application rejections, gave me peace and joy, held me close as I processed the disappointment of not going to school in August, and ultimately filled my life with laughter and dancing. I am so thankful to my God, who is beautiful for every situation. Things didn’t go as I had hoped but I saw the hand of God in the journey and I’m thankful for his presence.
